8 TIPS ON PREPARING FOR YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION: MARYLAND BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER

When booking a new session, I always send my clients a welcome email before their photo shoot to let them know how to prepare! You wouldn’t expect to need to know some of these things, but don’t worry, I’ve got your back! :)

  1. Come in loose fitting and comfortable clothes! Don’t wear something that will leave lots of marks on your skin and will also be loose enough to get off once your hair and make-up are finished!

  2. Don’t overuse self-tanners or go to get a spray tan before your session (especially if you’ve never done it before!).

  3. If you choose to have your nails and toes done, neutral colors including pale pinks and french manicures look beautiful! You can wear a darker color too, but steer clear of neon’s and bright colors that might clash with your lingerie!

  4. Hydrate and moisturize your skin and lips the week leading up to your shoot! This will help you feel and look amazing!

  5. Eat something for breakfast before you come and feel free to bring snacks! It is a long day and I want you to feel great and not worried about a growling, hungry stomach!

  6. Arrive with your hair clean and dry but avoid styling tools before your session! This helps to make sure that your curls hold nicely!

  7. Come with a clean, moisturized face and no make-up!

  8. Breathe!! You’re going to be amazing and I am there to guide you every step of the way!
